When is antibody engineering needed?
Most antibodies identified through our platform can be used directly without any additional engineering. In some cases, however, optimization may be required to adapt an antibody to a specific application. Depending on the requirements, this may include improving affinity, stability, specificity, developability, or adapting the antibody to a different format.
We can optimize a range of antibody properties, including affinity, specificity, stability, expression, solubility, pH sensitivity, and developability. The optimization strategy is tailored to the desired profile of the antibody and its intended application.

Yes. YUMAB can work with existing antibody sequences or leads, regardless of whether they were generated internally or through another discovery platform. We can apply engineering, humanization, format conversion, or optimization strategies based on the starting molecule and project objectives.
